Picture kids giggling as candy whooshes down a witch’s spell tube, landing in a cauldron glowing with Halloween charm.
That’s the fun of this PVC witch candy slide, a playful mix of spook and sweetness.
You’ll build your witch around a tall frame, letting her cast treats instead of curses.
Add a striped purple pipe as the candy chute and decorate her cauldron with neon paint or felt slime.
Materials Needed
- 4-6 feet of 4” PVC pipe
- Dress form, mannequin, or wood frame (around 5–6 ft tall)
- Black and purple fabric (6 yards total)
- Witch hat and ribbon
- Cardboard or plywood for the cauldron base
- Neon paint, glue, and felt for decoration
- Zip ties and tape
- Optional: LED lights for glowing effect
Step-by-step Guide
Step 1: Create a tall witch figure using a frame or dress form, then drape it with black and purple fabric to shape her cloak.
Step 2: Attach the PVC pipe at an angle from her mouth (or under the hat) toward the cauldron.
Step 3: Secure the pipe using zip ties or tape, and decorate it with striped fabric or paint for a whimsical touch.
Step 4: Build or cut a cauldron from plywood or foam board, then paint it black and add neon green slime.
Step 5: Place the bottom of the pipe inside the cauldron and test with candy before Halloween night!
Tips:
Line the PVC pipe with smooth plastic or wax paper if candy tends to stick.
You can also hide a small light in the cauldron for a glowing magic brew effect.
