How to Turn Bananas into Spooky-Cute Halloween MummiesThere’s something oddly charming about a banana disguised as a mummy. It’s as if they’re all lined up, ready for their Halloween debut, peeking out with wide eyes.

This project is quick and perfect for last-minute party prep.

Specially, they’re as delicious as they are silly, sweet bananas wrapped up in spooky style, ready to surprise your guests.

Materials Needed

  • 6-12 bananas (ripe but firm)
  • 1 roll of gauze or cheesecloth (about 2-3 yards)
  • 24 googly eyes (¾” size, 2 per banana)
  • Double-sided tape or glue dots (for eyes)
  • Scissors

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Peel bananas just before wrapping, or keep peels on for decorative display at parties.

Step 2: Cut strips of gauze or cheesecloth into 12-18 inch lengths. Then wrap each banana like a mummy, leaving a small gap for the face.

Step 3: Attach googly eyes in the exposed space using glue dots or tape.

Step 4: Finally, arrange your mummies on a platter for a fun, spooky presentation.
