Materials Needed

Step-by-step Guide
Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock or watercolor paper into a 2” × 6” rectangle.
Step 2: Lightly sketch a bookshelf outline with 3-4 rows. Then add books, pots, and wall décor for character.
Step 3: Paint the background in soft earthy tones, letting it dry completely.
Step 4: Add color to books, plants, and details using a fine brush. You can also lyer shades for depth.
Step 5: Outline your design with a fine liner pen to sharpen details.
Step 6: Once dry, laminate or cover with clear contact paper to protect it from wear.
