Building Fish Bowl Snowman: The Step-by-Step Journey
Step 1: Creating the Base
I started with the largest fish bowl. After filling it with about two inches of fine snow, I arranged my decorations.
Three mini trees stood at the back, with two sleds in front. I added a few candy cane sticks and scattered chunky snow over the surface for depth.
Step 2: Designing the Middle Section
For the middle bowl, I wanted a cheerful village scene. First, I filled it with about an inch of snow, then placed a tiny house in the center. I added Santa and a signpost next to it, creating a charming centerpiece.
The LED lights under the snow gave the house a warm glow, making it feel like a storybook Christmas village.
Step 3: Completing the Head
The smallest bowl became the snowman’s head. I kept it simple, a white ceramic house surrounded by fluffy snow.
In addition, a battery-powered tea light inside the house added a welcoming glow.
Step 4: Stacking It All Together
When stacking the bowls, I made sure everything was aligned perfectly.
You just use a small amount of hot glue between the bowls gave the snowman extra stability without making it permanent.
Step 5: Crafting the Hat
Finally, you cut a 6-inch diameter circle from black foam for the brim and use another sheet to form a 5-inch tall cylinder.
After securing the pieces with hot glue, wrap the base of the cylinder with the plaid ribbon. The hat fit snugly on the top bowl, completing the snowman’s look.
Once finished, I placed the snowman on a sturdy tray and set it on my entryway table. It instantly became a conversation piece. With the LED lights on in the evening, it brought a warm, magical glow to the room.
