Make Eerie PVC Dripping Candles That Glow All NightIn the dim glow of Halloween night, these candles seem to breathe.

Each one stands tall, white wax cascading down its sides, flames flickering gently like they’ve been burning for centuries.

You’ll make them from PVC pipes, dripping hot glue for that perfect melted look, and topping each with a battery tea light.

Arrange them in groups, and suddenly your yard feels touched by old ghostly charm, a soft light for wandering spirits to follow home.

Materials Needed

  • PVC pipes (various heights, 1-3 inches in diameter)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • White or ivory spray paint
  • Battery-operated LED tea lights (1 per candle)
  • Handsaw or PVC cutter
  • Sandpaper for smoothing edges
  • Optional: black paint for aged or gothic effect

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Cut the PVC pipes into different heights, this variation makes the display more natural. Smooth the edges with sandpaper.

Step 2: Heat up your glue gun and apply thick drips around the top edge of each pipe.

Then, let it run down naturally for that melted candle look.

Step 3: Once the glue dries, spray-paint the entire candle white or ivory. For extra drama, lightly mist the tops with gray or black for an aged wax effect.

Step 4: Drop an LED tea light into each pipe. You can secure it with a bit of tape if needed.

Step 5: Cluster them together on your porch or along a garden path, and watch your eerie glow come alive at dusk.

Tips:

Mix pipe heights between 6 and 18 inches for a more dramatic look. A touch of gold spray paint on some candles adds a regal yet spooky shimmer.
