Stack a hay bale or two near your mailbox post to create the base of the display.

Position the scarecrow so it stands upright against the post, securing it with ties if needed.

Place a pot of bright mums on top of the hay bale to bring color and fullness.

Arrange pumpkins and lanterns around the base, tying decorative ribbons onto the lanterns for a finished look.
