Materials

  • Thick white cardstock (cut into 5–6 mini cards, approx. 3x5 in.)
  • Red and pink gel pens or markers
  • Lipstick (1–2 shades)
  • Black fine-liner pen
  • Scissors or corner rounder punch
  • Optional: ruler for puzzle/grid designs

Instructions

  • Cut your cardstock into several mini card shapes. Rounded corners give the set a soft, cohesive look.
  • Choose one theme per card: kisses, tic-tac-toe, song screen, puzzle, or chemistry love note. Variety is what makes the set special.
  • Sketch your designs lightly in pencil first if needed, especially the grid or molecule drawings, so everything stays neat.
  • Add lipstick prints, drawn hearts, or shaded icons depending on the card style. Mixing doodles with small handwritten notes keeps everything cute and personal.
  • Switch between red, pink, and black pens to give each card its own palette while still staying consistent across the set.
  • Once all cards are finished, lay them out together as a sweet mini collection ready to gift or tuck into a larger Valentine surprise.
