Materials

  • Various pasta shapes (20–30 pieces per design: fusilli, macaroni, penne, and shells)
  • Cardboard or wood slices (5–7 inches each)
  • Acrylic paint (assorted bright colors, 50ml each)
  • Paintbrushes (small and medium sizes)
  • Craft glue (1 small bottle)
  • Pencil and scissors for tracing outlines

Instructions

  • Trace simple summer shapes on cardboard or wood slices, think seashells, popsicles, crabs, or leaves. Then cut them out neatly.
  • Paint each shape in bold, summery colors like turquoise, coral, and sunshine yellow. Let them dry fully before adding details.
  • Choose pasta types that fit your design, you twisty fusilli for waves, penne for stripes, or shells for texture. Then paint them in fun colors and let dry.
  • Glue the pasta pieces onto your painted shapes to highlight features or add decoration.
  • Once everything is dry, display your collection on a wall or use them as table decor for a summer gathering.
