Materials

  • Assorted pasta (spaghetti, fusilli, macaroni, ditalini – about 1 cup total)
  • Wooden craft sticks (6–8 per skeleton)
  • Craft glue (1 small bottle)
  • Pencil for sketching
  • Cardboard or backing paper (optional for support)
  • Small paintbrush (optional, if painting afterward)

Instructions

  • Arrange 6–8 craft sticks side by side and glue them together to form a flat base. Let it dry completely.
  • Sketch a simple stick-figure outline to guide where each bone will go.
  • Choose pasta shapes to represent different parts of the skeleton like spaghetti for arms and legs, rotini for the spine, and macaroni for ribs.
  • Glue each piece in place following your outline. You can adjust until it looks balanced and fun.
  • Once dry, you can leave it natural or paint the pasta white for a more skeleton-like look.
