Materials

  • Rigatoni, penne, and small tube pasta (about 40–50 pieces total)
  • Acrylic paint in assorted colors (30ml each)
  • Paper plate for drying)
  • Yarn or string (1 meter per necklace
  • Scissors (1 pair)
  • Clear varnish or glue (optional, for sealing paint)
  • Paintbrushes (2 sizes)

Instructions

  • Spread the pasta pieces on a paper plate and paint them in your favorite colors and patterns such as stripes, dots, or half-and-half shades work beautifully. Let them dry completely.
  • Once dry, apply a thin layer of varnish or glue for a glossy finish if desired.
  • Cut a piece of yarn long enough to fit around your neck, then thread the pasta beads through in a pattern you like.
  • Now, you can tie the ends of the yarn into a knot to secure your necklace.
