Draw a fish shape on the cardboard and carefully cut it out. If crafting with younger kids, prepare the shapes in advance.
Paint the fish base in a bright color, like blue or purple, and let it dry completely.
While waiting, paint the macaroni in a few different colors, think of them as the fish’s colorful scales. Let the pasta dry for about 15 minutes.
Arrange the macaroni on the fish’s body in neat rows to create a scale effect. Once you’re happy with the pattern, glue each piece in place.
Add a googly eye and a small pasta piece for the mouth. Let everything dry before displaying your fish proudly on the wall or refrigerator.
