Materials

  • White cardstock or thick paper (A4 size, 1 sheet)
  • Bow-tie or fusilli pasta (about 1 cup)
  • Acrylic or tempera paint (4–5 colors, 50ml each)
  • Craft glue (1 small bottle)
  • Black marker for outlining
  • Small red pom-pom (1 piece for the nose)
  • Colored pencils or crayons for background
  • Paintbrushes (1 small, 1 medium)

Instructions

  • Draw a simple hedgehog outline on the paper, leaving space for the pasta spines. Then add legs, eyes, and a smile to give it character.
  • Paint the pasta pieces in different autumn colors like brown, orange, green, and yellow. Let them dry completely.
  • Glue on the red pom-pom for the nose and use the marker to define facial features.
