Divide the paper plate into four equal sections using the marker, labeling each one: Egg, Caterpillar, Chrysalis, and Butterfly.
Cut two green leaves from colored paper and glue them into the Egg and Caterpillar sections.
Glue three small shell pasta pieces for eggs, and one fusilli pasta on the leaf for the caterpillar.
In the Chrysalis section, glue a small shell or piece of pasta and draw a branch beneath it.
Finish with a bow-tie pasta butterfly, adding antennas with the marker. Paint and decorate as you like to make each stage bright and clear.
