Materials

  • Various pasta shapes (penne, rigatoni, macaroni, shells – 30–40 pieces)
  • Acrylic paints (green, pink, gold – 10ml each)
  • Mini thimbles or small paper cups (6–8 pieces)
  • Paintbrushes (2 sizes)
  • Craft glue (1 small bottle)

Instructions

  • Sort pasta pieces by shape, you can choose tall ones for cactus stems and curved macaroni for arms.
  • Paint the pasta green, adding a few in lighter shades for variety. Paint a few small shells pink for flowers. Let everything dry.
  • Next, paint your thimbles or mini cups gold or pink to serve as tiny plant pots.
  • Glue the pasta pieces together to form small cactus shapes, attaching arms and flowers at the top.
  • Once dry, fix each cactus inside a pot with a dab of glue.
  • Let them dry overnight, and you’ll have an adorable collection of mini pasta cacti to brighten your space!
