Materials
- Cardboard sheet (8×10 inches)
- Bow-tie and spiral pasta (about 30–40 pieces)
- Yellow and orange acrylic paint (30ml each)
- Paintbrushes (2 sizes)
- Pink paint for cheeks (optional)
- Black marker for facial features
- Craft glue (1 bottle)
Instructions
- Cut two large circles from the cardboard and paint them in bright yellow and orange. Let them dry.
- Paint the bow-tie and spiral pasta in matching sunny colors, then let them dry fully.
- Glue the pasta pieces around each circle to form the sun’s rays, you should alternate shapes for a fun look.
- Use pink paint to add round cheeks and draw a happy, sleepy face with a black marker.
- Glue the finished suns onto the larger cardboard sheet for display. You can even add clouds or a rainbow for extra flair!
