Materials

  • 8–10 pipe cleaners (2 brown, 2 red, 2 orange, 2 yellow, 2 green; 12 inches each)
  • 1 small orange felt piece for the beak and feet
  • 2 googly eyes (1 cm diameter)
  • Hot glue gun or craft glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Twist two brown pipe cleaners together to form the turkey’s body, coiling them into a short cylinder shape. You need to leave a small portion at the top for the head.
  • Cut one orange felt piece into two tiny feet and a small triangle for the beak. Glue them in place on the front of the body.
  • Attach the googly eyes just above the beak to give your turkey some personality.
  • For the feathers, shape colored pipe cleaners into large loops and twist them together at one end to hold their shape.
  • Glue the feather loops to the back of the body, arranging them in a fan shape with alternating colors. Adjust the loops so they spread evenly and look full.
