Materials

  • 2 pipe cleaners per snail (1 for the body, 1 for the shell)
  • 1 pair of small googly eyes (1 cm)
  • Glue gun or craft glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Start by coiling one pipe cleaner tightly into a spiral, this will form the snail’s shell. Press the end gently to keep it secure.
  • Take another pipe cleaner for the body and fold one end into a short curve to create the head. Leave two small ends sticking out for the eye stalks.
  • Glue the shell onto the back of the snail’s body and adjust the curve so it looks natural.
  • Attach googly eyes at the top of the stalks and let them dry completely.
  • Once dry, set your snails on a flat surface, they look adorable lined up together, as if racing at their own easy pace.
