Materials

  • 10–12 pastel pipe cleaners (12 inches each: pink, lavender, white, and green)
  • 2 small foam or paper bowls (3–4 inches diameter)
  • 4 small black beads for eyes (4 mm)
  • String or clear fishing line (12–15 inches)
  • Beads for decoration (8–10 small pieces)
  • Hot glue gun and scissors

Instructions

  • Begin by wrapping pipe cleaners around the outer curve of the bowl to create the jellyfish dome. Alternate colors for a blended, soft gradient look.
  • Use white and pastel pipe cleaners to form the tentacles. Twist and wrap them around pencils or straws to make curly shapes. Once shaped, remove them gently.
  • Glue the tentacles underneath the bowl’s rim, spacing them evenly so they hang naturally. Add small beads or pom-poms along the tentacles for playful texture.
  • Attach two small black beads to the front of the dome as eyes. You can add a hint of blush or color to make it expressive.
  • Thread string through the top and tie a secure knot for hanging. Then add a few beads along the string for an extra floating effect, and hang it where light and air can make it dance.
