Materials

  • 12–15 pipe cleaners (8 purple, 5 green, 12 inches each)
  • 1 pastel gift box or frame-style paper bag
  • White tissue paper (2–3 sheets)
  • 1 white ribbon (12–14 inches long)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Start each tulip by twisting two purple pipe cleaners together and rolling them into a slightly oval bud shape. Pinch the top lightly to mimic real petals.
  • For the stem, twist a green pipe cleaner and insert one end into the base of the bud. Wrap it tightly to secure. Then add a small folded section of green for the leaf.
  • Repeat until you have a small bouquet of 5–7 tulips. You should adjust the height slightly so the flowers look naturally layered.
  • Line the inside of the box with tissue paper, fluffing the edges for volume. Next, arrange the tulips and glue them in place if needed.
  • Finish with a ribbon bow on top, creating a gift that looks like a florist’s masterpiece but carries your handmade touch.
