Begin by twisting three or four pipe cleaners together to form the narrow top of the tree. Gradually add more pipe cleaners as you move down, arranging them in a circular pattern to create thicker layers.
Continue layering pipe cleaners around the dowel or stick, bending and fluffing each one outward to mimic real pine branches. You secure each row with a small dab of hot glue to keep it steady.
Once your tree shape feels full and balanced, glue the bottom of the dowel onto the wood base. Next, hold it in place for a few seconds until it sets firmly.
Decorate your tree with pom-poms and mini pearls as ornaments, spacing them evenly between layers. Then add snowflakes or tiny gingerbread cutouts for extra detail.
Tie a decorative ribbon into a neat bow and glue it to the top of the tree. If you have a charm or topper, place it at the center of the bow to complete your festive masterpiece.
