Flatten a coffee filter and decorate it using markers. Blend blues, purples, and oranges for a sea-inspired tie-dye look. Lightly mist with water so the colors bleed into one another, then let it dry completely.
Once dry, pinch the center of the coffee filter to form a soft dome shape, this becomes the jellyfish’s bell.
Cut several ribbons or fabric strips to serve as tentacles. Mix textures such as shiny ribbon, lace, and even bubble wrap for a fun, wavy effect.
Glue or tape the ribbons to the underside of the coffee filter. Then add a bead at the top if you like for extra flair.
Thread a string through the top and tie it securely so your jellyfish can swim in the air.
