Flatten the coffee filter and color it with blue, green, and yellow markers or watercolor paints to resemble a peacock’s feathers.
Lightly mist the filter with water to blend the colors. Let it dry completely, it’ll have a beautiful tie-dye effect.
Once dry, fold the coffee filter in half to form a semicircle. This will be the peacock’s tail.
Paint or color your clothespin blue and let it dry. Glue the feather to the back of the pin’s top section.
Add two googly eyes and the yellow paper beak to the front of the clothespin to make the peacock’s face.
Clip the clothespin onto the center of the folded filter tail, and fan out the paper for a full, colorful display.
