Flatten your coffee filters and lightly paint the edges with green watercolor or food coloring. For a leafy look, make the edges darker and let the color fade inward.
Lay the filters on paper towels to dry completely, this takes about 20–30 minutes.
Once dry, layer 4–6 filters in each bowl, ruffling them slightly so they look like open lettuce leaves.
Prepare your bunny heads by adding ears to the top of each plastic egg and drawing on faces with markers. You can glue on tiny sunglasses or whiskers for extra fun.
Place the finished bunny in the center of the leafy nest and tuck a small plastic carrot beside it.
