- Paint the large clay pot with a smiling scarecrow face, adding rosy cheeks and a stitched nose for charm. 
- Thread jute rope through the mini pots, knotting between each to create dangling bells. 
- Attach the rope inside the large pot so the smaller pots hang below. 
- Glue raffia strands around the rim of the pot to mimic hair, letting them peek from under the hat. 
- Decorate the straw hat with faux leaves and berries, then glue it firmly onto the top of the pot. 
- Hang the finished scarecrow from a tree branch or porch hook where it can sway lightly in the wind.
