  • 4-5 mini clay pots 2"-3" diameter
  • 1 straw hat adult size, 14"-16" wide
  • 1 pack acrylic paints assorted colors

Instructions

  • Paint the large clay pot with a smiling scarecrow face, adding rosy cheeks and a stitched nose for charm.
  • Thread jute rope through the mini pots, knotting between each to create dangling bells.
  • Attach the rope inside the large pot so the smaller pots hang below.
  • Glue raffia strands around the rim of the pot to mimic hair, letting them peek from under the hat.
  • Decorate the straw hat with faux leaves and berries, then glue it firmly onto the top of the pot.
  • Hang the finished scarecrow from a tree branch or porch hook where it can sway lightly in the wind.
