Materials

  • Printed photo of your child (4×6 inches)
  • Brown construction paper (9×12 inches)
  • White paint (2 tbsp)
  • Paintbrush or sponge
  • Red pom-pom (1 inch diameter)
  • Scissors and glue stick
  • Marker for name/date

Instructions

  • Trace both of your child’s hands on the brown construction paper, then cut out the shapes to form the reindeer’s antlers.
  • Let your child paint their handprints white on the brown cutouts for a fun snowy effect. Set aside to dry.
  • Cut out your child’s photo around the head and shoulders. Glue it to the bottom center of a sturdy cardstock piece.
  • Attach the handprints behind the head like antlers, adjusting for balance. Glue a red pom-pom on the nose for a Rudolph touch.
  • Write the child’s name and year on the back, then let it dry completely before hanging or gifting.
