Materials

  • Wood slices (3-4 inches in diameter, one per ornament)
  • Printed black-and-white photos (2.5-inch circles)
  • Brown craft felt (cut into 3×4-inch pieces for antlers)
  • Small red pom-poms (½ inch, one per ornament)
  • Red satin ribbon (6-8 inches for hanging loop)
  • Hot glue gun and scissors
  • Pencil and template for tracing circles

Instructions

  • Print your photos and trim them into circles slightly smaller than the wood slice.
  • Glue the photo to the center of the wood slice, smoothing it gently to remove any air bubbles.
  • Cut two antlers from brown felt, each about 2 inches long and glue them to the top back of the ornament.
  • Attach a red pom-pom to the nose area of your child’s face for that classic Rudolph look.
  • Loop the red ribbon, glue or staple it securely to the back, and let it dry completely.
  • Once finished, hang it on your Christmas tree and enjoy the charming glow of your tiny reindeer smiling back at you each year.
