Jute twine or thick rustic string(about 6-8 yards per pumpkin)
1cinnamon stick(2-3 inches)
Scissors
Floral wire or small piece of string for tying the center
Hot glue gun(optional)
Instructions
Begin by wrapping the twine around your hand or a small book about 30-40 times to create loops. Keep the tension even so your pumpkin has a full, rounded shape.
Carefully slide the twine off your hand and tie the middle tightly with floral wire or another piece of twine. Make sure the knot is snug, this holds everything in place.
Spread out the loops evenly around the center tie to form a pumpkin shape. You can fluff and adjust the loops until you get a balanced, round look.
Insert a cinnamon stick in the middle of the tied section, it will serve as your pumpkin stem. Push it in snugly; if it feels loose, add a dab of hot glue to secure it.
Trim any uneven ends of twine to keep your pumpkin looking neat and well-shaped.
Repeat the process to make several pumpkins in different sizes for a layered, natural display.
Notes
You can mix in a few strands of orange or cream-colored yarn for a touch of color variation, it makes your display look extra cozy and harvest-ready.
