Materials

  • 2 cinnamon sticks per reindeer (around 4 inches long)
  • 1 red pom-pom (for the nose)
  • 2 googly eyes (small size)
  • 1 ribbon or twine (about 8-10 inches for hanging)
  • Hot glue gun or craft glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Start by choosing two cinnamon sticks that are roughly the same length. Place one stick vertically, it’ll serve as the reindeer’s face. Then angle the second stick across the top like an upside-down V to resemble antlers. Once you’re happy with the position, glue them together and let them dry for a few minutes.
  • Add the googly eyes just below where the two sticks cross. Try spacing them evenly so your reindeer looks friendly and balanced.
  • For the nose, glue the red pom-pom near the lower end of the vertical stick. This will instantly give your reindeer its cheerful Rudolph look.
  • Cut a short length of ribbon or twine and loop it at the back of the reindeer’s head. Then secure it with glue or tie a knot to create a hanger. Make sure the loop is long enough so it can hang comfortably on your Christmas tree.
  • Wait for all the glued parts to dry completely before picking it up. Once dry, gently adjust the ribbon or antlers if needed.
