These seashell snowmen ornaments carry both sunshine and snow in their design, blending two worlds in the sweetest way.

Materials Needed

• 12 medium seashells (3 per snowman, about 2-3” each)
• White acrylic paint and paintbrush
• Orange paint or small orange beads
• Black permanent marker or paint for eyes, smiles, and buttons
• Hot glue gun
• Small ribbon scraps for scarves (about 6” each)
• Twine or jute string (8” per ornament for hanging)
• Clear sealer spray (optional)

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Wash and dry your seashells thoroughly. Lay them flat before painting.

Step 2: Paint each shell with white acrylic paint and let them dry completely.

You’ll need three shells per snowman including one for the head, one for the middle, and one for the bottom.

Step 3: On the top shell, draw or paint a snowman face. Then add eyes, a smile, and an orange nose.

Step 4: On the other two shells, paint black dots to act as buttons.

Step 5: Cut an 8” piece of twine, then glue the three shells onto it vertically, spacing them slightly apart.

You should leave a loop at the top for hanging.

Step 6: Tie a ribbon between the top and middle shells to make a scarf, gluing it in place if needed.

Step 7: Finish with a light coat of clear sealer if you want them to last for years. Hang them on your tree and smile at your seaside snowmen!
