• Clear acrylic spray (optional)
• Ribbon or string (about 12 inches, if you want to replace handles)

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Choose your panels. For the front, I usually go bold with action scenes or close-ups of characters.

For the sides and back, I pick dialogue bubbles or smaller frames to keep the whole bag visually balanced.

Step 2: Trim your panels so they’ll fit neatly on each face of the bag.

If the bag has handles, cut little slits where the strings attach so you can slip the panels around them.

Step 3: Using a glue stick (or a thin layer of Mod Podge), attach the panels one by one. Then smooth with your hands or a clean cloth to avoid wrinkles.

Step 4: Overlap edges slightly so no plain bag peeks through. Once everything is covered, brush a thin coat of Mod Podge over the whole bag to seal it.

Step 5: Let it dry for 20-30 minutes. If you want a longer-lasting bag, spray it with clear acrylic sealant.

Step 6: Fill it with your gift, add some tissue paper, and watch the recipient’s eyes light up before they even open it.
