Materials Needed

• 10-12 peanut shells (2” size, intact, for snowmen)
• Acrylic paints: white, red, black, green (1 set, 10-15 ml tubes)
• 2-3 small paintbrushes (size 2 round and 6 flat )
• 3-4 mini wooden sticks (about 6” length each)
• 1 roll of jute or twine (approx. 2 yards, for ladder sides and hanger)
• 5-6 small ribbon scraps (green, red, or patterned, 6” each for scarves)
• Hot glue gun or strong craft glue
• Optional: white acrylic marker or correction pen

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Start by painting your peanut shells with a white base coat. Let them dry, then add red hats, black eyes, and tiny green buttons down the front.

Step 2: Cut small strips of ribbon and tie them around each shell to act as scarves. Then secure with glue if needed.

Step 3: Arrange wooden sticks horizontally and attach them to two parallel strands of jute, forming a rustic ladder. You should leave extra twine at the top for hanging.

Step 4: Glue your peanut snowmen onto the rungs, spacing them evenly. Then angle some slightly to give the look of playful climbing.

Step 5: Add final details like dots on scarves, rosy cheeks, or even glitter if you’d like a frosty sparkle.

Step 6: Hang the ladder in a cozy spot on a wall, a tree, or even on your front door.
