The mix of natural wood and red beads captures the spirit of the season without being over the top.
Add a bow and some faux greenery, and suddenly youβve got a decoration that looks store-bought but carries the pride of handmade.
These also make wonderful little gifts for friends and neighbors.
Step 1: Cut a 12" piece of twine and thread it through alternating wood and red beads until you have about 30 beads in total, forming a small circle.
Step 2: Tie the ends of the twine tightly to secure the beads into a wreath shape. Then trim any excess twine.
Step 3: Cut a 6" piece of twine, form a loop, and tie or glue it to the top of the wreath for hanging.
Step 4: Glue a small bundle of faux greenery sprigs at the base of the loop.
Step 5: Make a bow from burlap or patterned ribbon and hot glue it over the greenery for a polished look.
Step 6: Add a small red berry, bead, or button to the center of the bow for a festive finishing touch.
Tip:
For variety, you can use gold, green, or even metallic-painted beads to create different styles that still look coordinated when hung together.
