The dried oranges glow like miniature suns, the flowers scatter like wild memories, and the ferns stretch as though caught mid-dance.
Adding a crystal at the center makes the piece feel almost enchanted, a talisman for your home.
It’s not just wall art, but a conversation between you and nature, captured in a frame you crafted by hand.
Step 1: Remove the backing and glass from your frame. Then clean the glass thoroughly so your design shines clearly.
Step 2: Cut a piece of dark cardstock to fit the inside of the frame. This background color will make the oranges and flowers pop.
Step 3: Arrange your dried oranges on the cardstock first, creating a balanced layout.
Next, place one at the top, bottom, and sides to form a natural frame within the frame.
Step 4: Add pressed flowers and ferns around the oranges. Then use tweezers to position them carefully so they don’t tear.
Step 5: Place a crystal or small stone in the center to act as the focal point. Adjust until the entire composition feels harmonious.
Step 6: Once satisfied, lift each piece one by one and apply a thin layer of glue with a small brush.
Press it gently back onto the cardstock. Also, allow everything to dry fully before reassembling the frame.
Step 7: Reinsert the glass and secure the backing. Hold your frame up to the lightt, it now carries the glow of citrus and the poetry of the wild.
Tips:
If you want to preserve color longer, spray the finished arrangement with a light coat of clear acrylic sealer before framing. This will help protect delicate petals from fading.
