Materials Needed

• 1 sheet black or dark green construction paper (9×12 inches)
• Colorful tissue paper confetti (1-2 cups)
• Clear contact paper or laminating sheets (2 pieces, 8×10 inches)
• Scissors
• Pencil for tracing
• Turtle template (optional, about 8 inches long)

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Trace and cut out a turtle shape from your construction paper. Then carefully cut out the inside of the shell, leaving an outline like a frame.

Step 2: Place one piece of clear contact paper sticky-side up. You lay the turtle frame on top.

Step 3: Sprinkle tissue confetti inside the shell cutout, overlapping colors to create a glowing, stained-glass look.

Feel free to try mixing warm and cool tones for more depth.

Step 4: Seal the design with another piece of contact paper, sticky side down. Then press firmly to sandwich the confetti in place.

Step 5: Trim around the edges to neaten it up, then punch a small hole if you want to hang it with string, or simply tape it to a sunny window.
