With its expressive little face, it’s as if the carrot is following the adventure with you.
Each time you pick up your book, it feels like opening a garden full of imagination.
Step 1: Sketch or print a carrot design about 6” long on white cardstock.
Step 2: Color the carrot with orange and the leafy top with shades of green. Then add a simple face for extra charm.
Step 3: Cut out the carrot carefully along its edges.
Step 4: Punch a small hole near the top of the leaves.
Step 5: Thread green embroidery floss or yarn through the hole and tie a knot to secure.
Step 6: Optional, laminate for durability before cutting if you want it to last longer.
Tips:
You can experiment with other vegetables like radishes, turnips, or even a smiling corn cob for a whole set of garden-themed bookmarks.
